February 24th was the opening day of Equineland's first ever auction. All bids were closed on February 27th, and at the end
of the auction, 14 out of 65 entries were sold to proud new owners. Horses sold from $2,000 all the way up to $2,756,250.
The highest seller of the auction was TT Fine Wine, a 6yo create red roan Quarter Horse mare. Trained in racing, TT Fine Wine has collected lifetime earnings of over $1.6 million, with her high rating being an impressive 99. She was consigned by
Tall Trees and purchased by Stride of Perfection Stables. She was the record-seller at the price of $2,756,250.
Quick Silver, an 8yo Roan Arabian mare was sold for $1 million to Roanoak Acres. This great little mare has earned over $4.8 millionin her lifetime career as a western pleasure horse, also pulling in a high rating of 93. She was previously owned by Brer Knoll.
Brer Star Struck is a 7yo blanket bay Appaloosa mare, trained in Reining with a high rating of 86, and career earnings at
$1.4 million. She was sold for $1,000,000 by Brer Knoll to Foxfire Academy.
Brer Saaphyri brought some added beauty to the auction, being a rare-colored dapple grey Selle Francais. She is a
7yo mare trained in Dressage, with nearly $1 million in earnings. She sold to Whisper Goodbye Acres for $500,000. She
was also previously owned by Brer Knoll.
TT Honey Pie is an eye-catching 6yo cream Quarter Horse mare. She is shown in english halter classes, with a high
rating of 87. She came from Tall Trees, and was sold to Glass House Pleasure Horses for $315,000.
One Tuff Cookie is an 8yo dun Quarter Horse mare. She has loped her way to over $1 million in earnings and a rating
of 83 in western pleasure. She was sold to Short Story Stables by Tall Trees for $150,000.
Below the Ground, an 8yo bay Trakehner mare, has proven that a Trakehner can be a super-star western pleasure horse!
She has a 91 rating, and $2.1 million in earnings. She was sold by Roanoak Acres to Glass House Trakehners for $58,000.
Livra Majesty is a 4yo chestnut Andalusian mare. This rare-colored mare is by Lusien, and out of Her Gold Crown.
She is trained in Cross Country Driving, and has a high rating of 78. She was sold by Stride of Perfection Stables to
Glass House Driving Horses for $56,000.
SS Vodka Kisses is a 5yo bay Quarter Horse mare. She is sired by SS As Good As It Gets, and out of Pacific Sailing.
She has earned herself a high rating of 82 in Pole Bending. She was sold for $30,000 to Short Story Stables by
Roanoak Acres.
TT Babyshambles is a flashy 4yo leopard palomino Appaloosa mare. Her high rating of only 45 in English Halter was
a bit un-impressive, but because of her color, she still sold for $10,000 to Glass House Pleasure Horses from Tall Trees.
Agent Alexander is a 2yo dapple grey Thoroughbred gelding. He also brought some rarity to this auction, with his
beautiful coat color. He is by Whispy's FBI, out of Dixie Alexandra. Trained in Racing, with a high rating of 53, he
was consigned by Tennis Farm and purchased by Glass House Thoroughbred Farm for $8,000.
MH Saxy Valley, a 4yo blue roan Quarter Horse gelding by MH Happy Valley and out of Saxon, sold for $5,000. He is trained in Reining, with a high rating of 73. He was previously owned by Mile High, and is now owned by McLaughlin Stables.
Brer New Years is a 2yo grey American Saddlebred filly by Abraxas Splendor, and out of Brer Rock of Love. She has
earned a high rating of 57 in ASB Performance. She was sold by Brer Knoll for $5,000 to Angels On Fire.
And finally, we have Risky Ground, an 81 rated stallion in Barrel Racing that sold for the low price of only $2,000. He is a 4yo liver chestnut Trakehner by Value the Risk and out of Below the Ground. He was consigned by Roanoak Acres, and purchased by Short Story Stables.
